What are the basic details of the race?

What about the festival?
The free festival goes from 7 am - 11 am
Stick around for ConsciousFest at 11 am - 8 pm. It’s also free!
Where do I park?
Vendors, Performers and Volunteers have designated parking near the festival site. This information should have been communicated in a recent email. If you have not received it, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
For runners, walkers and anyone else attending the race/festival, we suggest street parking, which is plentiful in the neighborhood. We also have identified a handful of paved lots near the site.
The lots below are listed in order of proximity to the start/finish line and festival site.
MLK Shopping Center Parking Lot - Located at the corner of MLK Boulevard and Whittier Street. It is one block away from the main site. Street parking near the parking lot is also available.
Sarah Easton Poultry Parking Lot - Located near Martin Luther King Jr cheer and water station.
Deaconess Center Parking Lot - Located at the Deaconess Cheer Station. Note: The center will also be open for tours if you stop.
Guardian Angel Parking Lot - Located in between two cheer stations along Vandeventer Avenue
When is packet pickup?
Packet Pickup/Same Day Registration
We have three options for packet pickup. Included in your packet will be your bib and a T-shirt (we encourage you to wear it on race day!) Athletes 21 and older will also get two free beer tickets, thanks to our sponsor Civil Life Brewing Company.
Before the race, we will have pickup from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday, Sept 6 at Big River Running Company, 606 North and South Road, University City, MO 63130. We will also have packet pickup during those same hours at Northside Community Housing Inc, 4067 Lincoln Ave, St. Louis, MO 63113.
On race day, we will have pickup starting at 6:45 a.m. at the registration booth, which will be located at the intersection of Sarah and Evans
We will also offer same day registration at the same booth, if you have friends who haven’t signed up yet. Cash and credit/debit will be accepted.
Children (12 and under): $20
Teams of 5: $175
Where will I be running?
If you are unfamiliar with the area, we suggest plugging in 4057 Evans Ave, St. Louis, MO 63113 to your GPS. It is the site of Good Life Growing, which is adjacent to the festival site in in sight of the start/finish line.
Part of the mission of the Trap Run is to highlight north St. Louis by bringing people to the neighborhoods the event seeks to benefit. Participants will take a route along North Sarah Street to Washington Avenue, Vandeventer Avenue to St. Louis Avenue. Cheering and water stations, featuring local DJs, will be located along the route.
What if I don't want to run or walk? Will there still be something to do while the race is going on?
Yes! The Trap Run is more than just a race. Please attend for the vendors and ConsciousFest. Vendors will begin at 8am, and, ConsciousFest will run until 8 pm. There will be DJ and artist performances, food trucks, health information and many vendors.
Is there a way to support the event even if I'm not participating or sponsoring it?

Who are the Djs/performers
Music is a central part of our event, and we're thrilled to have some of St. Louis' best entertainment.
We will have DJs from FarFetched, The Soulition, DJ KP da Kid and DJ Rico Steez.
What about the weather?
The event will happen rain or shine. Currently the forecast is for sunshine and warm temperatures.
Is there any way to volunteer?
Yes! You can sign up here.
Will there be medals and awards?
Everyone who runs or walks will get a participation medal or pin. We will also have awards for overall fastest time (men and women). Awards will be announced on stage following the race.
